Brev fra USA: High school, prom og fest

Hi mom and dad. I feel good at my host family in U.S.A. I live together with my host family – it includes ‘’dad, mom, big brother and little sister.’’ High-school is very cool. In the school there is a Danish girl who I sometimes talk with. Her name is [NAVN A], and we are very good friends. I have a lot of friends, and they are driving me around the city, in their own car. I think it´s cool to be able to drive a car, when they are only 16 years old. It’s nice that they can drive me around, and then I can get around faster. In my spare time I play football with some of my friends. Football is quite nice.

Last Friday I went to a prom at the school. [NAVN A] was my date for the prom. You had to have a date for the prom, or else you would not be invited. The girl should wear an expensive or a cheap dress, and she shall also wear a lot of accessories. I had to wear a tuxedo or a smoking, with a boutonniere. I bought a very expensive tuxedo, and my date bought a very expensive dress.
