United states of America … The land of opportunities. As I just finished my exams, I decided to give up everything and try my luck in the western part of the world, where you basically need luck and success combined to be successful. At this point I’m working in the fields to stack some money, and if I had had enough money, I would’ve gone to New York or some kind of big city, where the possibility of me getting a better job would’ve been far more possible.
My fellow worker, Sebastian, have the same futuristic plans as me – we’re both interested in being more successful, but at the same time we’ll to start somewhere …
There is a huge difference between my home-country, Ireland, and the USA. First of all, you’ll have to build up self-confidence to make it to the top, you can’t hesitate if someone offers you a job, because if you wants to work yourself up the “ladder”, then you’ll have to focus on yourself, your salary and your spot in the community. As I said I’m a field-worker at the moment, so I’m at the bottom, but I’m well aware of how I’ll make it to the top. I think you can use this quote as a great perspective: every man for himself.
