We follow the king?s journey to get rid of his stuttering, to get more confident and become a better king. At the time, Bertie was considered unfit to be the king of Britain mainly because of his stuttering and problems with speaking. Bertie engages the help of an unorthodox speech therapist called Lionel, who also ends up becoming one of Bertie?s great friends. And as a friend Lionel helps Bertie find his voice so Bertie can lead the country through war. |
