Jack sits in a bar and plays poker. He wins two tickets to the boat titanic. This was going to be the trip of his life, not only because he died, but also because he met Rose. The first day on the ship, at the evening Jack sees a woman, trying to jump out from the ship. That’s Rose. Jack tries to get her of the fence in the back of the ship. But her foot slips and she screams for help. Jack pulls her up, but in some way he lands above her and it looks like Jack is trying to rape her. Some men hear her screams of help and when they find Rose like that, they want to arrest Jack. But Rose explains it to them. After that evening Rose and Jack starts to talk more with each other. But people on board don’t really like it, in particularly not Roses friends and family. That’s because Rose is on first class and Jack is on third class. After a while you can say that they start dating, but there is a little problem. Rose is engaged with Cal, but she doesn’t love him. She is only marrying him, because he has money - or her mother says she have to.
