Again, a very welcome to all my fellow students here at University of London. My name is [NAVN A] and I am 18 years old. I am an international student here at University of London and I am very interested in politics and especially American politics; therefore, I’ve chosen to present the different views, first of by Barrack Obama and secondly by Donald Trump.
On the 20th of November the American president, Barrack Obama passed a new bill through, immigration reform (Immigration Accountability Executive Action).
Why? You may ask yourself. Let me tell you. Approximately 11 million undocumented immigrants live illegal in the United states.
What are the implications the new reform and what are the good news, for the undocumented immigrants?
As written in the reform - “undocumented parents of children who are US citizens or legal residents will be able to apply for work permits lasting three years. Only parents who have lived in the US for five years will qualify.” Only 3.7 million immigrants at this point of time have lived or stayed in America for 5 years or more, those numbers are according from the Migration Policy Institute.
