CCTV Surveillance og privatliv i Storbritannien

I am writing to you to tell about my views on the CCTV Surveillance in the UK. I can see why lots of people like it and think it is a good thing to have. The idea of the CCTV Surveillance is good and would help our society a lot, but many are paranoid that the government will use all of this new information and recordings to keep track of every person and in the end, control society. I would hate living in a city where I was being watched all the time and I know that if I don´t have anything to hide I shouldn’t be scared, but I believe that everyone has the right to have privacy and we don´t if we are being recorded and someone is watching us at all times. The people I know that live in the UK where there are cameras everywhere, mostly say it´s a good thing because it has stopped crime, but they also say it´s a violation of their privacy. They feel as if they are not safe to do exactly what they want, because they know they are being recorded. Even though it is not illegal what they are doing it is still kind of creepy knowing that your every move is being watched.
