We are being watched, but many of us don’t know it. There are estimated 4 million CCTV in the whole Britain. There are many great things about having CCTV, but there are defiantly also some mayor problems, that can appear.
Hey my name is Chris from Denmark. I am a reporter that is right now staying in London because I wanted to try something else, let’s say I got bored of Copenhagen. I’m writing to you because of one of the things you first recognize when I entered London which is the CCTV. I first saw it when I got out of the airport, I was met with 5 cameras with was watching me. And I felt a feeling I haven’t felt before in my body. And then I asked one of the security guards why there were so many cameras, just at one point, and his answer kind of shocked me a little. He just answered that they had to, because of the risk of something. There are cameras everywhere in shops. You can’t go with your dog without seeing a camera that is spying on you, it’s actually horrifying that we have to being watched by other people, only because there can happen something. I know that they are great in cases with incurrence money and stuff like that. But we also have to look at it in other perspectives. I’m also writing to you because I think this has to change and it has to change right now, or it just will get worse than its already is.
