This story is about a boy called Michael Oher he is 17 years old. Better known as Big Mike, but this was his nickname. Michael doesn’t like this name. His childhood is rough because his mother is a drug user and alcoholic and prostitute. He has never seen his father in his life. The authority takes him and his brother from their mother. When he finds new places, he runs away from these former places. One day Michael goes with his friend and his friend´s father to the Wingate Christian School, to help Michael. They’re very impressed by Michael size and athleticism, but they’re not impressed by his grade, because he isn’t clever like other students in this school and his IQ is very low around 80. Coach wants to give him a chance and board of governors doesn’t like him because he is black and his grade is low but always they give him a chance. First day at the school, he is very nervous and not very talkative. First an hour lesson with biology. Biology teacher gives him written paper, but Michael doesn’t solve a problem this task. He is only drawing. The biology teacher puzzles at him and how can he understands us. Biology teacher tells other colleagues they’ve same experience. Biology teacher takes test him as oral test. This is a surprise he get grade C in this test. The teacher tells other teachers he is just dyslexic that’s mean he can’t write. The teachers are surprised by his ability. One day Michael walks alone night, a car comes across. The family sees him. Leigh Anne Tuohy is the mother in the family asks him where you are going. Michael answers he is going to practice. But this is not true Leigh Anne takes him to her home with her family. Next morning Michael tries to walk away from the home, but Leigh Anne discovers him and pulls him back home again. Michael wants to go back to his home, where his mother lives in this place. Leigh Anne drives with him to the mother’s place. Michael walks to this the house, but there’s no home, Michael goes back to the car and say she is not at home. Leigh Anne drives back him to her home. Leigh Anne has found a nice room to Michael with fine armchair, table and a nice bed. Michael is very surprised and happy. He can’t believe it. Michael gets a private teacher he is more serious at school and gets better grades in all subjects. Michael plays American football and he’s better. Michael gets to know about more of the family. Michael Oher wants a driving license. Anne Leigh asks: “Why do you want a driving license?” Michael answer: “I want an identity.” They’re going to the driving school. But they’ve not Michael’s surname. So he can’t get approval to drive. Anne Leigh visits Michael’s real mother. Because she needs to know about Michael’s real surname or his identity. Fortunately they’ve good communication, even though Michael’s mother is a drug addict and drunk. She is very happy Anne Leigh helps her son in best way to his life, that’s why she listens to Anne Leigh and Anne Leigh listens to her, because this is supposed about Michael best way to life. Michael and the family are sitting at a big table, and Anne laugh asks him: “Are you part of us like family?” Michael answer: “I thought I was already” The family and Michael are happy. Michael gets legal! As his full name Michael Oher and he is part of the family Oher. Michael is very happy and he passes driving license! One day Michael Oher and Sean Jr. drive together, but they’re be hit by a truck with large wood. Actually Michael saves SJ’s life! Because he is a small boy, when Airbag hits him would be worse for him! Anne Leigh comes fast and checks everything is fine, but she treats SJ and Michael as equal. Michael gets a lot of visits from different coaches from the universities. Because they are wild his athleticism size and lots of experience about defense. Michael is very tired of them, they’ ask the same questions. Finally Michael has one choice university is Mississippi better known as Ole miss. When Michael completes the High school and he gets good fine grades to next his dream education university.
