It’s really nice to be welcomed as well as have I here in my new High school. I thought it was a bit tough to start as a danish exchange student, and I was afraid of not being welcome or accepted by them. Or merely just screwing up the first few days,such as tripping face first or something like that. But also, when I’m with new people, I get rather nervous, and therefore most of my accent and grammar, gets crumbled up and thrown away like a piece of paper. But It went surprisingly well.
I was welcomed well, and got to sit with some pretty cool gamers, just like me. And fortunately they were some of the popular kids, so didn’t sit with some dorks. And some teacher told me, that if you at least made one new friend on your first day, it was a good day. And it truly was. My host family walked me into the gym, where every single kid, on the school were. They welcomed me with the cheerleaders (which I got say, were pretty fine), and I told about Solroed, myself, school and hobbies. Afterwards they all went back to their respective classes, and I went to see my class. They were really nice and I got to sit next to one of the boys, I later sat with in the cafeteria. We were supposed to have math, but they were so excited about me starting, I answered their questions instead. They were very interested in the danish culture. Later we had P.E. and I got to show off my soccer skills. We played mixed teams. I scored 7 goals, and assisted 16.
