Martin Luther King was born in 1929 in Atlanta Georgia. His father and grandfather were priests and Martin became a priest. He was a true American hero, his most famous speech I have a dream is an oration of historical. HIs dream is to have freedom for the black people, and to live in peace and harmoni with each other. In his speech he said that all men are created equal. By this he means all people are born same but the color is the only thing that is different. He also said that we should be friends and sit together like brothers and sisters regardless of the color of your skin One of the famous quotes from his speech is “I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.” and that means we should not judge on the color, and the quote also shows how important it is for him that his children shouldn't grow up with the same conditions as he did. Why do we have Martin Luther King Day ? Because, He is a legend for freedom and liberty for the black people without violent. While he was living there was a great difference between the white and black people. In his famous speech he told that in his dream he foresaw that black and white have equal rights. Today we see him as a hero and he has inspired many people because of his non violence politics How do i celebrate Martin Luther King Day ? Our college is closed on Martin Luther King Day, the holiday fall on the third Monday in January. I celebrate Martin Luther King Day with my family, our close friends and our neighbors, where we make some nice food and eat together. After we have eaten we go out to watch the parade. The parade starts with one of his sons, Martin Luther King III, who is also ?ghter for equal rights. He made a speech about freedom for the black people in the USA and what their conditions look like today. The parade is decoratet with Martin Luther Kings pictures and his most famous quotes. Many people have showed up and support the freedom in the USA for the black and white with candlelight march which is a way to honor his death. They walk to his burial which means that Martin Luther King still lives in their memories
