Karakteranalyse af 'Champagne Flight'

This text is Champagne Flight by Jill Norris (1982). The main character is a girl age 16 from USA.

The main character is innocent.

“She also rummaged in an enormous cream-colored bag and found something which she popped into her mouth. I couldn’t' t see what it was. I thought maybe she was hungry.” (p. 2)

This proves that the main character is innocent because the main character does not suspect Serena Sinclair mixing alcohol and pills but just thinks it’s something like a snack because she thinks that Serena is hungry.

"Say ... I could even get you a job ... you´d be real good. They like them young." (Page 3)

The main character's innocence emerges once again this time because even though Serena Sinclair says that she could get her a job in show business, our main character does not think of Serena offering her a job as a stripper.

The main character is naïve.

“I'm in show business," she said flatly. I was impressed. She was odd alright, but then show people were supposed to be odd, weren' t they? “(page 2)

The main character is naive because she just believes this strange woman she just met on the plane. Because she looks odd, she trusts this woman to be in show business without asking further questions.
