Skribentens beskrivelse af Toney Deep essayTony “Deep” Wouhra was born in 1942 in British India. His father worked in the military. He came from a wealthy family. When India won its freedom in 1947 he was only five years old, and lived with his grandparents. After India gained its freedom there was a lot of trouble between different groups and religions. Tony, his brother and his grandmother then moved to Delhi, so they could be safe. When he was 19 years old he moved to Britain, to restore his family’s wealth. |
