The first I notice in the crime scene is the open door, where the glass is broken. The broken glass lies on the ground in the other room. That means that the glass was smashed from the inside of Katrina’s bedroom. Somebody wanted it to look like a burglary, but there are two glasses and a bottle of champagne on a little table, so it could also be an affair that went wrong. Beside the table there is a suitcase, with an open wallet inside. There is a heavy object in the middle of the floor, which could look like the murder weapon. To the right there is a dressing-table, here stand a big jewel case, which is empty. On a table is a calendar, a bouquet from Sally, two bottles of medicine and a watch. The calendar says T.F pretty much, so maybe the victim had an affair with her daughter’s husband.
There are five primary suspects, each one with a strong motive. Verona Delaney was Katrina’s best friend, but Verona was often mistreated by her. Verona was offered a lead role before Katrina, but she was in a terrible accident, because her brakes failed. Maybe she thought Katrina had something to do with her accident, so she could get the part. Still I don’t think she could have done it, because she has to wear a back support.
