When I think about the American dream, my first adjusting is Messi. I think his story is the most incredible and touching. When I’m reading about his life, and his way to the top, I get tears in my eyes.
Lionel Andrés Messi is his full name.
The 24th of June 1987 his mother gave birth to him. A star was born. The first time Messi had a ball between his feeds, he was 5 years old when his two bigger brothers needed a player more to play with.
He had amazing technical skills the first time he played. After that his grandmother insisted to take him to football training. She took him to the local football club in Grandoli.
The coach at that time was his father, so it was perfect. He played with his brothers and lots of other kids, who was older than himself. The bigger boys, didn’t like that little Messi was so good, and better than themselves.
Messi has always had a low centre of mass, because of his hight. Already in the early age Messi was a small guy. As full grown up man, he is only 1.69 cm high.
When he wasn’t to football, he practiced at home in his families garage. It resulted in some really grumpy neighbours.
