Abstract

This written exercise contains a description of social and economic inequality. Throughout this paper, it is explained what social and economic inequality contains and how we see it in the daily life. Furthermore, there is an explanation of different terms. The answer to the three exercises is based on the knowledge that comes from the book and the use of the internet. This particular topic is exciting in many ways as it is something that is often discussed in the media by politicians and experts. As I make my way through this exercise I conclude that in-equality isn’t necessary worse than equality and that inequality in some ways may be better than equality such as when it comes to salary and punishments by the law. This is something a lot of people tends to forget when they talk about how bad inequality is and that equality is so much better than inequality. I also conclude that we must not forget about the ones from the lower social groups and that we need to get them to take a longer education if they have the potential of it.
