The Digital age is upon us, humans rely on computers, mobiles and everything else we use to gather information. Humans have developed lots in the last centuries, we have developed computers, mobiles, and laptops. It started off as a simple perk for the rich people to have phones and computers. But today, almost everyone on the globe is using technology, at least once a day.
In my ordinary day, I use my mobile at least 2 hours a day. Why? You might ask. I use my mobile to check my social media and connect with people. However, one thing my computer and mobile has in common is I use them to look for information in school as well as in my home. In school, I use my computer to look up information, but at home, I use my mobile to look up just as much information.
When I’m home I would look up something on the lines of programming, science and gaming news. I enjoy programming, that’s why it’s the subject I look up the most. Whenever I program I need to look something up 75% of the time because no person could possibly keep all that information in their heads. But why should we, when computers can? 90% of people probably go and think about in their subconscious, why should they store this information if they can just go look it up later in their life? This is one big problem of the Digital age, we don’t store all the information we need in our memory but we use the computer. If our computer were to break or our data be stolen. We would forget that memory/information forever. I’m not stating that if we store it in our memories we can’t forget it, but if we do it can’t be stolen.
