Movies and television series are two things which fill a lot in the world. Millions upon millions are used on movies. Not only by the companies making them, but also by us, the consumers. With this comes a ton of movies. The movies have to be interesting to us, in order for us to want to watch them. The movies need interesting characters.
I would have to say that my favorite character from any movie or book is “Gandalf The Grey”, later in the series reincarnated as “Gandalf The White”. He is one the main characters in not only the Lord of the Rings books, but also the movies, being portrayed by Ian Mckellen.
Gandalf is a wizard living in Middle Earth, as it is called the movies. Not only does he come off as an old man, he says in the second movie “300 life ages of men i have walked this earth, but now i have no time”, regarding the attack on the Hornburg. He takes the form of an elderly man, and he acts like one most of the time. However he does show his true form more than one time in the movies. The main example being when the fellowship were chased by the “Balrog” in the mines of Moria, blocking the way for the foul beast and, revealed in the second movie, having slain it. This very scene spawned the popular saying: “You shall not pass!”.
