Fatness is a rising problem in Denmark, United Kingdom, U.S.A and all other industrialized countries. The reason is not clear, but I think it is because all the industrialized countries become richer, we can afford to go into the shopping centers or at the beach and then buy an ice cream or something else. I don’t believe that we had afforded to do that for a hundred years ago; maybe we had, but we did not had money to do it very often.
Another reason is maybe that some parent has become less responsible what food concern, so their kids become fat, and get bad experience about food. Some parents are so busy in these days so they don’t have time to cock some healthy food to their children, so the children become overweight. I think fatness is a serious problem, and it is only getting worse and worse if we not do something.
I see another problem at the junk food restaurant, the hamburgers getting bigger and bigger more precisely 112% larger, the pasta servings are 480% larger and the chocolate chip cookies are 700% bigger than in 1982. That’s a lot, if it was healthy food that has become so much bigger, then it would not be such a problem, but when it is buggers and cookies, when it is dangerous. Very overweight people have a major risk for chronic diseases, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, hypertension and stroke, and certain forms of cancer.
