Hey you guys 

I’m  Lisa  and  I  promised  to  talk  to  you  about  how  my  experience  was  to  live  in  another 

country  with a family who has another culture. As you all might know I lived in South America  for  a  year.  In  a  little  city  called Jardin. I moved in with a married couple. They were very nice  of course, we had some bumps on our rode, but they were nice.   I  was  very  nervous  at  first,  but  when  I  came  it  wasn’t  as  scary  as  I  thought.  I  introduced  myself  and  we  had  a little small talk. It was a little hard to communicate, because they talked  english  with  a  very  spanish  accent  and  I  weren’t  very  good  at  spanish  at  the  time.  They  showed  me  my  room  and  I  was  very  satisfied.  I  started  on  a  international  school  with  kids  from  all  around  the  world.  Some  of  the  students  was  also  exchange  students  like  me. They  were  also  staying  with  a  family, they just met. So they could also relate to how it was. I didn’t  really  like  the  mexican  food  at  first,  there  went  some  time till I got used to the mexican food.  Now I love it, but I was very choosy about food.   I’ve  got  a  lot  of  questions  about  how  you  can  tackle  problems  and  challenges. I have got a  question  which  says,  “  hat  do  you  do  if  you  have  a  really  bad  relationship  with  your  W exchange  family  or  get  in  a  conflict  with  them?    I  didn’t  have  a  bad  relationship  with  my  ” exchange  family,  but  I  been  in  some conflicts with them. And that wasn’t nice. I didn’t have a  fantastic  relationship  with  them  either.  It  was  just  fine.  Just  fine.  But  I  been  in  one  or  two  conflicts with them. The first conflict we ever had, was because I came home a little late. And  they  locked  me  out  and  wouldn’t  open  the  door,  even  though  I  kept  knocking.  When  I  had  standing  there  long  enough,  they  opened  the door and let me inside. After that we didn’t talk  about it. I apologized and everything was fine after.   But  I  don’t  regret  being  an  exchange  student  at  all,  I  think  every  exchange family have their  own  problems  and  challenges.  There  was  a  couple  of  bad  things,  but  it’s  nothing  to  all  the  good  things.  I’ve  gotten  so  much  new and good friends. I can definitely recommend to be an  exchange student.   That was it for my blog to day, see you next week.
