The twins woke me up around six o’clock this morning. They also woke Maddi. She came crying in to our bedroom. I hadn’t slept all night. Therefore, I asked Gerry to take care of the kids. Gerry was still asleep. So of course, it was me that took care of the kids (as always). Maddi was upset this morning, almost hysterical. She was yelling and screaming, it was so embarrassing. The whole resort had heard us. The others on the resort, must think I’m a bad parent. Maybe I am, but all of us is sometimes a bad parent, right?
10 am:
I finally had Maddi to calm down. I gave her a lollipop and some of her old Barbie dolls. She was quietly playing in her room. I closed her door. Eventually I had some peace. The twins were sleeping in their playpen. Gerry was down in the mall to buy groceries. Tonight, we are going to the restaurant with our friends. The kids will stay at home. They are always so loud at the restaurant.
4:17 pm:
We have just been down at the pool with the kids. I think Maddi got a little sunburnt. She started to cry, when I touched her shoulder. But after a while she started to play hide and seek with the twins. I enjoyed the time at the pool today. I love it here. I think we would like to go here next year. The kids like it here, me and Gerry does too.
