Guerrilla gardening is a trend where some people come together and take over an uncultivated ground and cover it with living plants such as flowers, ornamental trees and edible plants, without permission. The guerrilla gardening movement has grown beyond the north, with large activity in Canada, Britain and the United States. The gardeners are people who try to get a better environment by growing plants that help diminish the pollution in the air.
Many people are against guerilla gardening because they think that it's not okay to grow things on land that is not yours.
I think one should ask for permission to grow on private property before doing it. If you get allowed to grow in certain areas, then I think it only should be plants and flowers that were grown, or if you intend to grow food, then a part of the food you produce have to go to those who own the land.
There will always be advantages and disadvantages of things, but I personally do not think that what the gardeners do is okay, because they grow on land that is not theirs and that is illegal, but I can still see all the benefits of what they do.
