I have listened to Prince Ea’s lyric about auto-correct humanity. And he is totally right, and I agree with all the things he says in the lyric. The subject is topical, because we use our cellphones and computers too much. In other words, are humans spending too much time to look on screens.
First of all, we have become much less social, because people are sitting home in their beds, and looking into their phones, especially teenagers.
Secondly, many people have become more friendless, and many people feel alone.
Thirdly, cyberbullying has also become a big thing on the internet. The social medias cannot stop cyberbullying, and that is one of the reasons why we should quit social medias.
Finally, people are not meeting each other at public places anymore. It seems to me that people just keep contact by skyping.
But it can be argued, that social medias are good for people. For example, some people meet some new friends, on Facebook for example.
However, I agree with Prince Ea. In my opinion people should try to quit social media or a few days, and be together with their friends and family, and spend some time with them. I think the world would be a much more rather place to be, if people didn’t always walk with their head down in the phone. But it must also be said that I would miss social medias if they disappeared. Overall, social media have made a lot of difference in the world, and that is about to take over.
