Harvard University Wednesday, February 4, 2004, a day I cannot forget. I [NAVN A], Mark Zuckerberg and David Wilhelm were sitting in our college room, doing our usual things, having Pippa n Bella Café’s shake and sitting with our heads into our computer screens. I was writing an article that I had to submit the next day and David was helping Mark in the final touch ups of the website he was making.
Mark and David had joined a computer-programming course together months ago. They had been talking about it. Mark had dreamt of making his own website since he was introduced to what a website is. He had learnt about what a website is and how websites are made at the course and since then he started working on making his own site. He told David and me, that he wanted to make a website where people can socialize digitally. A site where people can find their old friends, whom they have lost touch with. I didn’t completely understood what he was saying and asked him how this could be possible? It was hard to explain, he said, but the moment he makes it possible he will show me how he did it.
