Analytical essay:

In the article It´s game over for” gamers” Anita Sarkeesian discusses problems that in today’s society is considered a very sensitive subject. She starts the article by telling a story about how she tried to persuade her parents to buy a Gameboy which was an iPad looking thing you could play certain games on in the old days, but her parents were reluctant to by the Gameboy because of and I quote “video games would rot kids brains” she says that it was common for people to say that about video games in the 90´s. so what is wrong with this brutal statement, well in the 90´s there had not been much research and study in the video game genre people just guessed that playing video games would be bad for you. Doctors and researchers advised not to let people’s kids play the games because it would damage their brain, and every parent just bit into that myth because it was the professionals that said it was bad, the problem is they had no idea.
