In the documentary we follow the girls who both use the social media, they also have the common to edit their selfies with the facetune app, facetune is an app where you can edit yourself and change the things you don’t like. Both girls are tired of editing themselves and want to do something for change, which can be through surgery or botox. I think it is 100% their own choice that they do as they do, it is a big problem for them in their everyday lives and they are sad about how they look. They have both gone with it for a long period of time and it is a choice that they have been thinking about for a long time. I also think it helps to make it okay, as it is not just something decided overnight. |
