Hello Lewis. I am a boy from Denmark, and I just read your text about, why you hate Facebook. And I don’t understand your opinion, when you’re saying that your hate it, just because some people you don’t call your friend, had added you to their friend list. I wouldn’t add a person I don’t know him or she, or I don’t would call the person my friend. Maybe their adding you because they want to contact you. I think it’s a good way to contact friends you don’t live near, ore you don’t see often. By myself, I use it a lot to keep contact to some friends of mine, their live I Viborg and Copenhagen. Friends I normally only talk to, a few times at year. And it’s also a good way to meet new people. It’s not a bad thing that you can read about their music taste and what they like to do in their spare time, because then you can find out of, they would be identical to what you like to spend your time on, before your contact them. Off cause there is some information you don’t need to put in, but its more personal things, example what city you’re live in, your phone number, your e-mail and stuff like that. That is unnecessary, because that could be used in a bad way. Your also writes that you only want to be friend, with the people there also are your friend in the real life. But don’t you think is could be interesting to meet some new people. It could also be from a deferent nation. Example if you live in America, couldn’t it be fun to rite with a person from a country in Europe? I think it could, because you can learn a lot, and find out of many things about their culture and traditions, instead of read it at the internet. I don’t think you will find the same answer. I´ll hope this will help you to understand why many people think it’s good to be online.
