Soon it is graduation, finally, all your hard work is coming to an end. You’re anxious and excited to be free of all the assignments and hard work filling most of your life. It is going to be a whole different world once you are done and must find a job and change your daily routine.

In this case, we have the college student Hailey Phegler, the main character in the short story “She’s the Bomb”. The short story is written by T. Coraghessan Boyle. Hailey is a complicated girl, she’s anxious and negative and throughout her, last year missed a lot of her classes and ended up not making it and not graduating. Hailey is facing the consequences of not graduating, and she is figuring it out on her own.

The short story is about a young woman named Hailey Phegler. She is at the end of her years in college. Hailey decides to call in a bomb threat at her graduation ceremony to avoid the embarrassment of her mother figuring out she isn’t about to graduate because she has been skipping her classes. She ends up being arrested by the police but gets bailed out by her Aunt Ceecie and ends up working in a clothing store.
