Based on what you have seen so far of the movie, give a characterisation of Nelson Mandela. What kind of person was he? Describe both his inner and outer qualities?
In the beginning of the movie a young black man is getting beaten up by the police, why?
- He got beat up because he was black and disprected them How did Mandela and the ANC (African National Congress) protest against the apartheid laws?
- They did resistance, and made a procession. What was Mandela’s mission/dream, what did he fight for?
- He fight for black and white people have the same right, and that all could vote.
When did the Sharpeville Massacre take place? what was it about and what happened? (search the internet, if you don’t remember)
- It took place on March 21, 1960, at the police station, and was a huge demonstration.
What were Mandela and his friends sentenced to?
- I can’t remember, but i think it were because they continued to protesting.
