Albert Einstein was a famous physicist. After publishing some ground-breaking papers, Einstein toured the world and gave speeches about his discoveries.

Albert Einstein is best known for his equation E = mc2, which states that energy and mass (matter) are the same thing, just in different forms. He is also known for his discovery of the photoelectric effect, for which he won the Nobel Prize for Physics in 1921. Einstein developed a theory of special and general relativity, which helped to complicate and expand upon theories.

His background:

Albert Einstein was born in 1879 in Germany. He was the first child born to Hermann and Pauline Einstein. He wasn’t that good in school at first. He didn’t understand WHY it was like that. He would always think about why it was like that. The facts he learned always annoyed him, cause if there weren’t a reason to why it was like that, he would think about it all day long. By the age of twelve he had taught himself geometry. He liked to sit in his own room and try to figure things out.

How did his interesting in science started?

It all started when Alberts father gave him a compass. He was really confused about how the needle always could point north. He wasn’t interested in the facts but why they are there.
