Teksten opfordrer til at behandle andre, som man selv ønsker at blive behandlet, og til at anerkende, at diskrimination stadig eksisterer.

There still is race discrimination in Denmark, as in many other countries, but we have to change that. I hear from many black people that they have experienced racial discrimination in their daily life.

People have yelled of them, called them the n-word, and many other epithets.

It will for sure be hard to ignore that, and not letting it affect you as a person. Some people might take it easier than others.

And it’s not okay to discriminate, just because you disagree by their colour.

No one should be scared to walk out of the door, de in public places, or change the way they look, just because other peoples’ opinion matters. People have to start treat people the way they want to be treated. If we started by helping and not ignoring. It will definitely change the definition of different colours of skin.

Colour shouldn’t matter in this world. Even though we don't hear much about it anymore, doesn’t mean that it still doesn’t exist. Because it does, also on a daily basis. But people just doesn’t notice it. that's why I wrote this letter. For people to learn and open their eyes, for what reality really is.
