The Aboriginals are the first people in Australia, they are the original inhabitants, the first Australians. They have live there for 300.00 years. The Aboriginal population lives in towns, the mining district and on the cattlestations. The rest live in reservations in the northwest and in the outback, or in the slums in the big cities.

The problems that the society has with the Aboriginals are, that they're not integrated. Many of them can't speak English, and many of them are uneducated. There are a big problems with unemployment, and the government has tried to compensate that with money, for example, by paying their education, and giving them free university. There are also problems with alcohol abuse, because their bodies have never had it before.

The white population has been there since 1788, when 11 British ships with over 1600 passengers and convicts, sailed into Port Jackson on the east coast.

They live in the Outback or in the slums in the big cities.
