For this subject about relationships, I’ve chosen the topic “Hooligans”, because I think that this is the topic that is the most different from what I normally think of when I think of a relationship, and for that reason, I think that it is a bit more fascinating as a topic.

The main points of this topic are about the fans of football/soccer clubs around the world, specifically the more aggressive fans who are making their own kind of hooligan-club, that is connected to the football club, mainly in England. These kinds of small hooligan-clubs are called firms. Some of the larger clubs even have multiple firms. In England alone, there are 80-90 different firms spread over 50-60 different clubs in both the Premier League, EFL Championship and the Football League. These firms can be a little different. Some are just casual fans who are watching the matches and cheering their favourite club, but some of the firms are more extreme fans. When they are losing a match, they will go fight the firm of the opponent club or something like that, which I think is pretty extreme and kind of an exaggerating reaction. The interesting thing about this is that the people who are members of the firms are pretty normal people. We saw a movie about one of these firms in English-class, where we saw that they all had normal jobs, and outside of the firms, they were all just normal people.
