One thing is that the Government are using facial recognition to protect the state from criminals or terrorists, but is it really necessary to take the citizens faces without their consent just not to be 100% risk free and safe for innocent people? Half of the population are at risk of being misidentified because of the flaws of the system just because of their faces even their race. One of the most tragic issues are the misidentified cases and that our faces are being stored in a giant library without many citizens consent only for the Government. So, in this Argumentative essay will the focus be on the issues in the facial recognition system and will be accounted and discussed.

There are some issues in the system of facial recognition at first there are many private companies there are scanning our faces when we walk past a building, visiting a shop etc. We do not know how long they have been doing this because they refuse to share information with anyone. Not only are those private companies taking our faces, but the military, China and IBM have taking over 10 million faces from online pictures, cameras and social media and are using them to train facial recognition software.
