Teen-tourist was one of the best experiences ever! I visited USA and was in New York City, it was much more interesting than I expected. New York City seemed a bit bland and too generic, but it has such a rich history and I ended up falling in love with the place!
First up my guide, Isabella, showed me the most popular places like the Statue of Liberty, and we even visited the Trump Tower for fun. I also got to ride a ferry across the river. The river itself has a super interesting history, once when immigrants came to New York they would have to stop up at a little island, now the Statue of Liberty is standing there, and have health checks among other things.
The food is amazing there and it is not just hot dogs. Because of the diverse ethnicity groups living in the city, you can always count on eating some tasty street food. They also have loads of yummy restaurants and tons of Michelin star restaurants! It really is a city brimming with life.
I also got to see Hamilton on Broadway. It was such a lovely experience and Hamilton really gives us an interesting, and humorous, telling of how USA won their independence.
