I went to New York City. A beautiful place, with loads of people. I wandered around, the streets of fifth avenue. I looked at my surroundings, and saw a bunch of people. There is literally so many cars, most of all cabs. There is so many signs, there wouldn't be a chance for me to get lost, cause literally everywhere you went, there would be a sign with the name of the street, hanging right in front of you. There is so many buildings, and very tall ones as well. I am just walking, minding my own business. Then I bumped into this person which is not surprising at all, since everybody here is like stressing out, and running everywhere. Well I look up and see that it's my best friend, from back home. My smile is reaching from ear to ear. I am just staring at her until she hugged me, and pulled me out my trance. "Long time no see" Sara said. "What are you doing here" I asked her clearly shocked. "Well my family and I wanted to travel, and we wanted to go somewhere else than Lebanon. My mother and I wanted to shop, and what better place to shop than the big apple" "Well it's so nice to see you again" I said. "You too. But I have to go now, my mother is waiting for me by the shops" "yes, of course. let's stay in touch all right!" "Of course see you around" I hugged her, and went on with my day. As I am on my way home, I am thinking about what I learned today. I definitely have to go out, and explore the city a lot more. Because there is so much beauty around the world, and I don't see it, because I am always on my phone. By the end of the day, I felt great I got some fresh air, and some exercise.
