'Hubie Halloween' filmanalyse

Plot: We follow Hubie Dubois (Adam Sandler), thru the Halloween night. Hubie spends his time during Halloween observe the city as the official Halloween Helper. Everyone loves to throw eggs, Molotov’s and tomatoes at him. The neighbors ignore him. The police ignore him. He makes a lot of fake reports to the police! The day before Halloween a new neighbor moved in next to him, his name is Walter Lambert (Steve Buscemi). Hubie investigates Walter's home after reports of strange noises. Hubie reports this to the police. Hubie is "recruited" by police sergeant Steve Downey (Kevin James) as an "AUU" (auxiliary undercover unit). Hubie believes this “Role” is true, although Steve hopes it will stop Hubie from bothering him. Hubie goes to the local Halloween party. Hubie is getting a lot of reports of a missing kid in the corn maze. Hubie’s co-worker Mike (Karan Brar), follows Hubie, hoping to scare him. Hubie found Mike, then sees him getting pulled into the big maze, and he is nowhere to find. Mike dropped a ticket to a drive-in cinema. Hubie goes to the drive-in cinema, he’s old classmates Lester Hennessey (Tim Meadows) and Mary Hennessey (Maya Rudolph), after a false report at a suspicious car at the drive-in. Which turned out that was a prank and then a gang in the car throwed eggs at Hubie. Walter looks like he is turning into a werewolf and chases Hubie into a haunted house in a carnival. Mr. and Mrs. Hennessey were getting kidnapped and Sergeant Downey was getting alerted. At the haunted house, Hubie saw a husky. Hubie thought it was Walter, full evolved. Then the husky ran into the haunted house, and Hubie chased it. Pete Landolfa (Ray Liotta), is one of Hubie's bullies, saw Hubie go in, then he followed to scare Hubie, but he got kidnapped in front of Hubie. They all suggested to cancel Halloween. They all agreed that Hubie is the kidnapper, thinking he is getting revenge on his bullies. He runs away and goes to a radio station. They found out it was Hubie's mother (June Squibb) who kidnapped the bullies in revenge for bullying Hubie and she planned to burn the bullies alive. Hubie rescued them and his mother suddenly disappears. A year later, Hubie is married to the most beautiful girl named Violet (Julie Bowen) and Hubie became the new Mayor of Salem. Hubie, earned respect from the locals. He rides his bicycle and prepares for the Halloween festivities.
