He was born the 5th august 1930 and he died the 12th august 2012

At the age of 16 Neil Armstrong became a pilot and later he was a fighter pilot in the Korean war where he flew Grumman F9F Panther

He has 3 kids Mark Armstrong, Karen Armstrong and Eric Armstrong

Neil Armstrong the first man on the moon:

He was captain on Gemini 8 in 1966, were the first connection between 2 spacecraft happened. In the meantime, a short circuit made the Gemini 8 spin, but Armstrong made it stop and fixed Gemini.

In 1968 he was the captain for the reserve cast to Apollo 8, in the 1969 he worked as a captain on the Apollo 11, under the first moon landing in the world.

Neil Armstrong was the first man on the moon, when he took, he’s first step he said, “that’s one small step for a human, one giant leap for mankind.”

Apollo:

Apollo 8 was the second manned mission in the Apollo program, the captain was Frank Borman, the command-module-pilot was James Lovell and the moon-landings-module-pilot was William Anders, they were the first people who came in the orbit.
