Beth and Jake live in New Zealand and have five children. Jake is fired from his job but receiving money, he uses on a pub with his friends. That end in him hosting a party at home. She ran home, resisted kissing Uncle Bully. And committed suicide. Jake keep going to the pub, while the rest of his family takes Grace's body to a tangihanga. The day after Beth finds out about the rape and extremely upset and sad, she took to the pub and confronted Bully. Jake didn’t believe it, until he saw it himself, her handwriting. Beth wanted to take the kids back to her Maori village. Jake yells at them while they drove off.
