But this story tells the about the family Heke there be talked about a mother, father and tree children. The father Jake, he is a very violent man there are temperamental over the other in the family, who beats his wife frequently when drunk, and yet obviously loves both her and his family. But in the several weeks he took to the pub in the middle of the Maoris town and get drinking with her friends and his uncle. And there Jake's frequent outburst of violence and the effect this hat on his family were don’t well for them. Because the kids be scared and doubtful, and that was use to they do bad thinks. The youngest son Boogie is in trouble with the police some he an long time get and after a time may be put into a foster home with other delinquency kids because he have an bad self confidence and were in the bad quittances and made delinquents with his friends. When the oldest son asks for money, and that Jake hate very much so he go to the mother because, Beth discovers Jake has gambled away, it ignites a vicious argument that Jake solves by giving Beth one of his brutal beatings.
