Roger Hedlund has a lot on his mind, the unplanted corn, and to be a good father to Cathy and Martha. Martha has a new kitten and Roger has laid down a law that it has to stay outdoors. Martha does not understand it. This and the rain are giving him a lot of thinking. Roger knows that the rain is good for the farmer but he want to get the corn planted. These next days, it stays on raining. Roger gets so nervous that he could not sit down. His wife Cindy said, let us go away; that he drives them crazy. Therefore, his two teenage girls ought them to go.
They went of to Grand Rapids, but on the way, he worries about the girls. He is curious, what is going on at home and they went back for a look. At the farmyard, there is loud music and many teenage kids, and then he understands that his teenage daughters not were little girls anymore. Cindy look at him and they go back and begin there trip to Grand Rapids.

Roger Hedlund and his relationship to his family, is that he is a good and loving father, nerveless he does not understand his teenage girls. He wants to do it, but he cant and do not know what to do about it. To be the father his daughter’s wants to tell things to, instead, he strikes out laws, but do not tell he’s daughter’s what on his mind. That he has a lot of thinking to do. He wants to be a good father, not so strikes, but the girls want to tell him, that they a becoming woman’s and that they can take care of themselves. In the end Roger, see the problem, when he looks back in his lives, when he met his wife Cindy at a party, just like that, they discovered at home, because Roger was nervous about his little girls. In a way Roger forgets his family because he has a lot to thinks about on his farm and he do not tell it to his family, so they maybe couth help him and he would be better to be a good father.
