We arrived at Kingsford Smith airport the 11th of March 2021 8:00 pm. We had been in the plane for 10 hours straight, and we were really tired. We rented a car at the airport and drove to our hotel 40 minutes away. When we arrived at the hotel we went to bed.

The first day

Our plans for today were to visit the Chinese garden, the royal botanical garden and to visit the Sydney harbour. At 10:00 am we drove to the Chinese garden 25 minutes away. The Chinese garden was very beautiful, and we saw some authentic Chinese buildings. We could feel the Chinese atmosphere when we walked around in the garden. There was a little pond with the finest Chinese decorations. They had put up some red spotlights that lit up the trees.

After we had spent some time in the garden we had lunch. We then went to the royal botanical garden where we had planned to follow an aboriginal cultural tour guide. It was very exciting, and we learned a lot about the aboriginal culture in Australia. The guide told us about the cadigal people, and how the aboriginals lived. When the tour guide was done, we drove back to the hotel to get some rest. At 7:00 pm we went to the Sydney harbour and found a restaurant where we could get some dinner. We walked around the harbour at night, and it was an amazing experience. I have never seen anything like this, and I don’t think I will ever forget it.
