Discrimination and segregation
Poem:
People in this world discriminate
Why do you care so much about my ethnicity?
Why are humans filled with such hate?
We are all under the same sky
Maybe one day we can change
See everyone for the potential they crave
The Greensboro sit-in was a civil rights protest that started in 1960, when young African American students staged a sit-in at a segregated Woolworth's lunch counter in Greensboro, North Carolina, and refused to leave after being denied service.
She was arrested for disobeying an Alabama law requiring black passengers to give up their seats to white passengers when the bus was full.
He was a Baptist minister and social rights activist in the United States in the 1950s and '60s. He was a leader of the American civil rights movement and he organized a bunch of peaceful protest.
That is when he held his famous speech “I have a dream” during a peaceful protest.
I am not sure if racism will ever be completely abolished but one can only hope.
“equality between all lives”
I would just tell them that they should educate themselves and stop being so ignorant. I would also ask them if they do not have anything better to do than sit around and have hateful thoughts about someone solely because of their skin color.
