Racism: A personal statement on discrimination

I think racism is stupid, because it´s wrong in so many ways, you shouldn’t treated different because you have a different skin color, religion, or how you look. But the problem is that we have freedom of expression in Denmark, and people can say what they want to, it happened in 2005 where Kurt Vestergaard made the “Mohammed drawings” there pissed the Muslim people off, I think it´s okay to say a lot of shit, but to take it to another level is wrong in so many ways. Only because you have freedom of expression, it not equals you can do something like that, there is something called respect, and I think there is some lines you don’t cross, that´s why I’m so much against racism, because there shouldn´t be a different between if you are Muslim or Christian or your name is Ali Mohammed and live in Iraq or your name is Peter all white guy and live in Denmark. But it´s amazing that there still exists racism, because we have come so long, but we are still so dumb we can´t see over that little wall, and treat each other properly.

My point of viewI have personal experiences with racism, because I’m Asian, I have heard many Asian jokes, I think it´s stupid because the people there said those jokes, are taking the stereotypical Asian guy, and just think from there. But I’m still the same guy, no matter what they say, but it still hurts when you hear stuff like that. Besides the jokes, I have been called other nationalities I’m not, people I was a Muslim, other have given me nicknames like Little Mohammed, chin tong guy, and many more.I can see it from other peoples side, like the Muslim people there is a lot people there don´t like them, because some of them there make trouble, then people think all people there is Muslim make trouble, which isn’t the case, but it´s there where people are stereotypical and racist again, and it´s so wrong.
