The Cuban Missile Crisis: Background and Course

Even before the inauguration of John F. Kennedy as president, the U.S. had been focused on Cuba and would overthrow Fidel Castro, as you saw his revolution as a threat. When John F. They broke off all diplomatic relations with Cuba, which took hard on Cuba

In 1961 established the United States, through NATO, 15 medium-range Jupiter missiles (medium-range missiles to carry nuclear weapons) near the Turkish city Izmir.
