Everyone faces the difficulties of the past. However, despite the ethnicity and trauma of childhood, let's all react and treat these crises and life challenges differently. Some overcome them through love, family relationships, and friendships, others react more negatively, which can lead to extreme actions that hurt themselves or hurt them. This is described in the short story "Kiss", published by Elizabeth Baines. The news begins with a young couple kissing exiting the London Underground station. The young couple have just met during a party in difficulty, where they all work. In the opposite direction, a man walks towards the station. The man is carrying a backpack on his back, containing a detonator. We know that the man intends to commit a terrorist, against innocent people at the station. As a result, he gets very nervous when he´s been from behind and almost fell. He was concerned that the detonator had been damaged and would not fire as expected. The author describes the past of the three main characters, and they found themselves in this terrible situation.
Thanks to flashbacks, the reader better understands character actions. The outward characterization of the young woman is depicted as a young woman, with pale skin and blonde in a ponytail, dressed in a silver jacket of green sneakers. To sum up, the young woman was sexually abused by her father, and her mother did not do anything about it.
