We are all different and have different relationships with our parents. When kids get older, their hormones change, meaning they are in a time of a turning point and want to try and do everything. Most teenagers think their parents are stupid and don’t give them permission to do anything, they just always say “no”.
I am sure that most teenagers love their parents, but just don’t show their feelings to them and still argue a lot with them. I think the typical subjects when arguing are parties, alcohol, dating, and curfew. What most teenagers don’t understand is that the parents are protecting their children. They could be arguing over a little thing and then suddenly, that little thing becomes much a bigger thing.
A lot of teenagers like or liked to do stuff with their parents, like going out and shopping together. Others may be embarrassed to go out with their parents. They are afraid to be seen out with their parents because they might get judged by their friends or classmates.
Being judged is the biggest fear for a teenager.
I think teenagers also need to be with their friends and be social. But it doesn’t mean that they can’t be with their parents too.
