Judy Garland was born in 1922 Minnesota and her real name is Frances Ethel Gumm. At two and a

half years old, Judy Garland stood on stage with her sisters for the ?rst Ame, and in the years that

followed, when she wasn’t even 10 yet, her mother did everything in her power to make Judy a

star. That involved giving her drugs like amphetamines - so she could get up in the morning and be

fresh on set, and sleeping drugs in the evening, so she could be well rested for the next day. Her
