Katniss is a 16-year-old young lady, she lives in district 12, a very poor place. She lost her father but has a little sister (Prim) and a mom, and she takes care of them. Katniss is brave, smart and good at hunting. She doesn’t trust people easily, but she loves her family. She takes Prims place at the hunger gams.
