In most Dystopian Fiction literature the protagonist becomes a rebel. For most people, it is a natural part of their teenage years when they rebel against their parents. Examples of this could be sneaking out at night or sneaking in after curfew. For some people, however, this rebellion happens because of a life-changing event. This is what happens to the protagonist Katniss in Suzanne Collins’ novel “The Hunger Games” when her friend dies. “The Hunger Games” carry out many themes. So does Chapter 18. The overall theme, however, is Rebellion. |
