Kærlighed og konflikt i Belfast

The Story takes place in Belfast in Ireland. The life is hard to live because there are big problems between the Catholics and the Protestants.

The Jackson’s is a Protestant family. Sadie Jackson is 16 nearly 17. She’s in love with the Catholic boy Kevin McCoy. Mrs. Jackson and Mr. Jackson are Sadie’s parents. Tommy is Sadie’s brother and he work as a welder. The McCoy’s are a Catholic family. Kevin McCoy is 18 years old. He’s in love with Sadie a Protestant girl. Mr. McCoy (Pete) and Mrs. McCoy (Mary) are Kevin’s parents. Brede is Kevin’s sister. She is a nurse. Gerald is Kevin’s little brother.

Linda Mullet told Sadie’s family about Sadie and Kevin. Linda and Mrs Mullet are two ladies who love to know everything.

Sadie’s first job was in a hat department. Where she was selling suits and hats to properly most rich people. She got the sack because she was seeing a Catholic boy. Kevin was working at a scrap yard where he was sorting trash. Mr. Kelly gave Kevin the sack because his daughter said that Kevin was hiding a gun in their scrap yard.

Brian Rafferty is a big and strong man. He’s one of Kevin’s old friends. Brian hates the Protestants and wants Kevin to join a lounge for Catholics rebels. Brian discovers that Kevin is dating a Protestant Girl so he attacks Kevin.
